I saw Franz Olry and Christopher Tasti kiting
and thought it looked like fun.
Describe your local conditions ?
Windy with waves, cross onshore from the left. My most used kites are 9m and 7m.
Name your favourite move and explain what it is ?
Normally my favorite move is the latest one I learnt…… right now I have been working on a few strapless tricks.
What is the best piece of kite advice you've recived ?
Never put your lines on backwards!

PKRA and KPWT world champion 2002
What do you do when not kiting?
Surf, Windsurf and cycling.

Give three pieces of advice for the average rider to improve their freestyle:
-Your body always follows where you are looking so think about looking where you want to go.
-Don’t try to use your POP to start a rotation. Get the board into the air and then start the rotation with your head and shoulders.
-Focus on your landing. Concentrate on where you are going to land and prepare for it by bending your knees and pointing the board a little down wind.

One day a friend gave me a kite video.
After watching that video I decided to learn kitesurfing.
Describe your local conditions ?
Waves – small, medium and
sometimes big. Away from the waves it is choppy. Cross/on shore wind – medium to strong wind, normally a bit gusty.
Name your favourite movie and explain what it is ?
Indy 313: an Indy Glide followed by a Front-Side 360 handle pass
What move are you currently working on ?
Slim Chance to Blind.
What is the best piece of kite advice you've recived ?
Don’t release your kite .
Best kiting achievements to date:
1st place in the Canarian competition 2006, 6th in the Spanish rankings 2006
Give three pieces of advice for the average rider to improve their freestyle:
- Always use your best pop.
- Jump with the kite in a stable position and never move it up.
- Rotate quickly and spot your landings!

At the moment I'm working on the flat 7,double s-bend pass and mobile 7.

It was two years ago when Mark Shinn told me to stop doing one footers and start doing handlepasses.

-You have to develop strength

me addicted. Sigve, Bjorn and Claes have been a good influence to continue.
Describe your local conditions ?
A huge flat on an enormous mountain plateau
where we get wind 6 out of 7 days in the season. Unfortunately 3 of these 6 days are with light winds or snowstorms.
Name your favourite move and explain what it is ?
BS spins. Backside spins is a left foot forward - left to right hand handlepass. Turning this as off axis as possible feels too good…
What move are you currently working on ?
Not any special moves at the moment.

Give three pieces of advice for the average rider to improve their freestyle:
- Try every move switch and regular. You never know if switch is even easier for you.
- Wrap yourself if you can’t catch the bar.
- Work on your style, even if you’ve done the same trick a hundred times

Trying to not think about kiting.
